<br>Valorant _ is Riot Game's most recent tactical shooter that players are calling a mix between Counter-Strike and Overwatch. The game is a 5v5 Search and Destroy SLG Game units much like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, but players also have to select different Agents which have unique abilities much like Overwatch. _Valorant currently has nine playable agents each having their own skill set that can help a team claim victory over their opponents. While players chose and buy whatever weapon they want to go with their agents, pairing agents' abilities well can help turn the tide of bat<br><br> <br>Support plays a huge role in any team-based shooter. Being able to heal, or even revive, teammates can give a team a huge upper-hand. Luckily for Valorant players, there is only one support style agent to choose at the moment: S<br><br> <br>Incendiary is a grenade launcher that fires incendiary grenades. These grenades won't go off until they hit the ground, so they can bounce off walls. Once they do hit the ground, they leave a large area behind that can inflict AoE damage to all who touch<br> <br>Lastly, Sova's ultimate, Hunter's Fury, is a laser beam that shoots through walls and reveals the location of enemies that are hit while also dealing a massive amount of damage. The ultimate has three sh<br><br> <br>The most expensive sidearm, this revolver deals massive damage but is offset by its low ammo capacity and slow rate of fire. The Sheriff's recoil may be a bit hard to control, but being able to kill with one headshot at almost any range/armor level makes up for<br><br> <br>Viper - Also a zone control character, although she uses poison. She can create pools of acid, or place a poison cloud emitter that she can pick up and move. Her signature move is a wall of poison gas, and her ultimate is a zone of poison that fogs enemy vision, outlines enemies who stand in it (for her), and stays as long as she stays in it (it doesn't hurt h<br><br> <br>Now that Brimstone's abilities have been detailed, it is important to understand the best way to utilize them. Brimstone excels at an area denial playstyle, that can provide excellent support for his team while preventing any attacks from being launched by the enemy t<br><br> <br>Omen's second ability, Paranoia, is a projectile that can travel through walls and heavily decreases vision for all players that are inside it. This of course includes allies, so Omen players should use it with c<br><br> <br>Defense is half of the name of the game, and agents who can deal massive amounts of damage with abilities can help push players off point and hold them at bay. While there are plenty of agents that can deal damage (Raze, Brimstone, Breach) the newest addition to the game has proven to be the best damage dealer, and that new agent is R<br><br> <br>The second ability is Flashpoint. This ability functions a lot like Aftershock, but it instead functions as a flashbang , rather than an explosion. These flashes have a much larger radius than Aftershock's explosions and can be used to completely blind enemies. These are highly useful and highly recommended for Breach play<br><br> <br>Glide isn't technically a main ability, but it is a passive one. It allows Jett to glide by holding whatever key is bound to the jump button. This allows her to avoid many situations that would normally deal fall dam<br><br> <br>Sage has the unique ability to heal players or herself, but her other abilities can be used defensively to control the battlefield. However, her ultimate can be used to resurrect from the dead. This effectively gives a player another life. She can also wall off teams from coming on to the point and has a large area of effect ability that drastically slows enem<br><br> <br>While there is not a lot of mobility in Valorant, to begin with, characters who possess mobility skills can take the upper hand in almost any battle. As aiming is a key element in Valorant, any skils that disrupt the normal amount of mobility are sure to mess with a player's <br><br> <br>Viper is an incredible offensive agent as two of her abilities recharge and uses fuel from her poison tank. She can put up a smoke wall to blind enemies, throw down a toxic area of effect grenade, and can summon a poisonous smoke cloud to help choke a point. But most importantly, her ultimate ability fills an area with toxic smoke that blinds enemies. The area is big enough to fill an entire point which makes it easy for a team to move on to a point and plant the bomb before the enemy team figures out where players are loca<br><br> <br>Emerging as an international success, seemingly out of nowhere, Valorant _ combines the competitive genres of hero-shooters and _Counter-Strike style realistic arena shooters. Valorant's success has appeared to emerge from out of nowhere, possessing gargantuan numbers on Twitch and increasing its player base every day. The only way that players can even get a copy of Valorant, is through a Twitch Keys, which can only be accessed by watching a streamer play the game live. This combined with its hyper-intense gameplay, application of both hero and realistic shooter qualities, and being one of the most addicting game-types to emerge in the modern market, it is no surprise that Valorant is shaping to be a mammoth succ<br>
