Dear friends! I am addressing you with a heartfelt appeal for help. My name is Vyacheslav, I live in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Right now, I am facing the most troublesome phase of my life. I am on the verge of total loss of vision, and without urgent medical assistance, I will become visually impaired this world forever. I need an ocular implant procedure on my left eye due to cataracts. This is my only chance to preserve my ability to see because I have already lost my right eye.
Since childhood, I have been afflicted by severe nearsightedness. At the age of three, I was fitted with spectacles, and since then, my life has been a constant struggle to see. In 2000, a terrible accident changed my fate forever. Shattered glass injured the cornea of my right eye, and despite multiple surgeries and a corneal transplant, I lost vision in that eye. Later, glaucoma developed, and after 21 years of battling for my eyesight, I had to undergo the surgical extraction of my right eye in 2021.

Doctors say that an urgent lens replacement can save my sight, but without medical intervention, my vision loss will be irreversible. I am already struggling to recognize objects, seeing everything as blurred shapes, and moving around independently is becoming increasingly difficult.
Financially, I am unable to afford the operation. I survive on a disability pension of just $63 per month. This barely covers the eye drops that only slightly slow the progression of cataracts. Saving for an expensive surgery is simply impossible. I need the charity and support of kind-hearted people who can help me in this difficult time.
Any support, even the smallest donation, will bring me closer to preserving my sight. I do not ask for luxury or a comfortable life. My only dream is to see my loved ones, my friends, the sun, nature, and simply enjoy life again. The ability to see is the greatest gift I could ever wish for.
